As mentioned before, these water-based resins have been synthesized from an emulsion polymerization from vinyl acetate monomer and stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol (as a colloid agent). They are usually packed in 200 Kg metallic barrels and also should be kept away from sunlight and freezing. The optimum time for using them is within 6 months after manufacturing. Vinyl acetate homopolymers are mostly used in industries such as textile, construction, wood and non-woven textiles.
